Camillo`s Italian Restaurant Pizza in Sayreville

Moderately priced ... NOT MY FIRST CHOICE for Italian food ...was SELECTED by people we were meeting ... It was conveniently about midway for all ! BETTER than YESTERDAY'S IN Hazlet !

I had ordered the veal francese and to my surprise it was tough. They did try to make it right and offer me something else but I wasn't interested at the time. So they made me a whole new dinner to take home to try and make it right, which was nice. I have yet to try that though.

Really busy tonight but very good service and food was, as usual, very good!

I like to go with friends to this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are yummy and the team is attentive and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we have a gorgeous evening. highly recommended.

Chicken Lombardi was great. Awesome. . garlic bread too. Prices great. Need free delivery. Better meat sauce. Better lasagna but i think food overall is fantastic

Not bad , all food is served hot and huge portions . I got chicken rolitini, it was overcooked an not really rolled but stuffed. An way all other meals were great and cant beat the price ill go back again

The service is friendly fast efficient. The food is OUTRAGEOUS, portions are huge, the sauces for the food are incredibly delicious. From the bread to start all the way through to the cappuccino that finished off the evening I cant say enough about this place it's an all around great place to enjoy anything from a slice of pizza to a multiple course meal. The mussels marinara in a hot sauce was indescribably delicious. The almond crusted cod melted in my mouth. WOW.....I've eaten here many times and always get something different, extensive menu and always top notch

Sauce is bland. Ordered the linguine with with clam sauce. Clams tasted like the came of if a can.

Over the years the food is amazing and one of my favorite places. My husband and I finally went out to dinner this past Saturday night and I was disappointed. I didn't mind sitting outside in the heat and looked forward to my fried Shrimp that I was craving all day! My shrimp 🍤 was so over cooked and dry. But I hate complaining so did not send back . I said something to waiter when bill the came. He said you should have said something in the beginning. I was not happy. Waiter should have gone to owner (maybe he did)and let him know what happened, so cook, not chef would not have a terrible dinner plate go out to a customer again. I still love Camillo's.

Basic Italian food. I got the veal parmesan and I was not thrilled. It was chewy and the sauce was lacking the traditional flavor one expects from an Italian restaurant. The portions were very good and the bread left you asking for more.

Camillo's has great food, great service and portions are big. I go there a lot with my Aunt Flo and family. I have had many family party's there. Also my Corvette Club (Spirits of 53 Corvette Club) always has their Christmas Dinner there.Billy

Get pizza here on weekdays , they make it well and organizedWeekends and holidays quality is lower and too much delay

I attended a Birthday Party for My Aunt today at Camillo's. What a great time! The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and being that I'm in a wheelchair, I just wanted to say that it is COMPLETELY Handicap Accessible! I look forward to going back!

Even on Mother's Day with a packed house everything was perfect... The food was even better than on a regular evening... My mother went on and on about how delicious everything was it is one of our favorite places we come for all special holidays and family affairs... And the carnations for each mom were a wonderful touch. We love it there

You just can't get better anywhere. Camillo's is the very best Italian food I've ever eaten . If we don't go to sit we order it for the house. The menu is fabulous. And it's family owned!!!!

I have to say , portions are huge served nice an hot. Service is good. Dont order chicken rolotini , not what i expected an way over cooked . But as well everyone else had a great meal an we will be back

Good local place our company uses for lunches off site. I usually get the Tuna and I think it's really well made compared to other tuna I've had in the area. Easy going environment too.

How can you go wrong ? The food the staff and the atmosphere are outstanding. You will bring food home. They give you so much. And it’s all so good.

A true hidden gem, was recommended this restaurant by a random passer-by a few days ago. Happened to be passing by and remembered the suggestion I was given and figured I'd give it a try. Not only is it a great value, the food is flavorful, fresh, and you can tell a lot of care goes into providing quality. The wait staff was exceptional, friendly and only added to the wonderful experience. Overall 5-stars and will be back again.

Save your money. Very disappointed, would not recommend this restaurant. Pasta had no flavor, although I ordered it with vodka sauce. The chicken tasted like it was fried in old oil used to fry fish. Overall disappointed and won’t be returning.

Went here for a funeral repast. They wouldn't let us sit at certain tables adjacent to our own table even though the restaurant was empty. I heard the waitress say that they serve family style, but that is not what happened. They took our orders and served us separately. The food was not seasoned and was overcooked. Tough, tasteless chicken. The temperatures of the ingredients in my chicken Lombardi were really incredibly different. Warm chicken, lukewarm tomatoes, and burning hot potatoes. Makes me think they were cooked separately or worse, microwaved. A server took away my friend's food before she was done. That was weird. The dessert was pretty good - rice pudding and cannoli. The service was fast and the place was clean.

The food here is amazing, and the staff is really nice!! They were able to accommodate our large group last night and I was super grateful about that. The prices are really great as well.I ordered a special (5 cheese tortellini), and I think everyone at the table was really happy with the food they got. I definitely want to bring my family here when they visit!

I'm changing my review from 5 stars to 3 based on the awful Margarita pizza I bought on Friday. Was undercooked, the sauce and chase was falling off and it was 17.00 piece of garbage. I should have returned it and it's my fault for not doing so. They used to be more consistent, I love the chicken Marsala pie, last time it was very dry and the chicken seemed old. The following is from a year ago... Now I know why they have such great reviews. Have not been here in years and I live close by. Good house salad. Beer on tap excellent, clean taps. Dinner and service wonderful. Not the cheapest but you are what you eat so eat well.

Excellent food, specials are always amazing! Service is top notch, kids can order pizza and you can get a real entree and a glass of wine!

Wasn't sure why a friend recommended a restaurant 20m away from the convention we went to but it was so very much worth it. They were able to accommodate our 14 person party and timely get our orders and food in. Definitely busy and bustling. The portions are well sized and the quality of the food was amazing. I ordered the Camillo's Special and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of seafood in it. It was absolutely delicious and I would order it again.
